I thought you’d like a little “behind the scenes” on the chair that was in this month’s issue of Emma Magazine. I bought this little beauty for $10 at Goodwill. Normally, I wouldn’t spend $10 on a chair, but I thought it had good structure and I was so excited to find it.
I primed the entire chair, including the legs. Then, I spray painted the whole thing pistachio. When that had dried, I taped off equal sections of the legs and painted the lower portion white.
Basically, I “faux dipped” the legs. For some time, I have loved the look of dipped legs and I’ve wanted to try it for a chair. This way, I got the same look without the mess of actually dipping the legs.
This has really been such a fun, exciting experience and I love that I can share it with you, now. If you didn’t see the post on Monday, you can check out the feature in this month’s issue of Emma Magazine here.
Enjoying the Good Life,
