DIY: T-shirt Sleeve Headband

Are we all in agreement that a white tee is the best color tee? Ever? Think about it. White tee and yoga pants? Cute. White tee and shorts with some bright jewelry? Cute. White tee dressed up with jeans and wedges? Even better. Today, let’s talk about using an old white t-shirt to make a headband (I must be in a t-shirt headband mood)…

No, I didn’t iron this t-shirt for this tutorial. Because…it’s a white t-shirt. I fully give you permission to not iron your white t-shirts. : )

To start, cut off the sleeve.

Trim a little off of each side to make the width that you want your headband to be.

To make a little gather in the headband, sew a loose stitch by hand.

Then, pull the thread (make sure it is tied off on both ends).

On to the flowers…

Cut a circle…a few circles…out of felt.

Cut the circles into spirals…

…and glue the layers together.

Then, hot glue them to your headband! You can do as many or as few as you’d like. I wish I could say that I came up with this tutorial because it is so stinkin’ cute, but I saw it here. : )

Say, what? You like my deer head? Well, stick around because I plan on sharing that tutorial with you next week! ; )

Enjoying the Good Life,

Kendra
