Let’s Hear it for the Boys…

When my sister emailed me a tutorial for this, recently, I knew I had to do it. There are some things in life that you don’t feel like you have an option about and making this skirt was one of them. So, I did what any diy wife would do–I raided my husband’s closet. He is a pretty cool cat and I knew he would have the perfect thing.

Welcome to my man’s $3.00 Gap shirt, via Goodwill.

Button up the shirt, tuck the top inside, and scoot it down to your waist.

Lift the shirt, by the sleeves, so that the under part of the sleeve is level with the top of the skirt.

Tie the sleeves and adjust the shirt until it is even around your waist. Voila!

I’m sorry, but is this not the coolest thing ever? I feel like it’s opened up a whole new wardrobe for me! Sorry, Love–you may be missing a few shirts in the near future.

Enjoying the Good Life,
Kendra
