A Valentine’s Day Cardi (No-Sew!)

If you read the post on No-Sew Elbow Patches, then you know I’m in the mood for Valentine’s Day crafting. Let’s continue the apparel crafts with another no-sew project.

I bought this Talbot’s cardigan at Goodwill. On its own, it’s fine–but let’s make it a little festive.

To make your own Valentine’s sweater, cut a heart out of a piece of felt. You can trace it if you need to, but I just folded the felt in half and cut out half of the heart so both sides would be the same.

Then, cut it in half.

Using Liquid Stitch, attach each side to the front of your cardigan. Make sure you line them up, first, so your heart isn’t crooked.

Have a Valentine’s Day party to go to? Just feeling in the mood to dress festive? Stick a heart on a sweater and you will be the coolest.

Enjoying the Good Life,

Kendra

  1. I need to get some of this liquid stitch stuff! This might be a dumb question, but it’s permanent, right? It’s not like you can glue something on and then take it off later?

      Yep, it’s there for good!
