What do you do when you have a business meeting to go to with your husband and you’re not sure what to wear? I’ve created a little recipe, of sorts, for you.
1.
About an hour before you have to leave, pull out the thrifted tea-length dress that you wore to a high school social in 11th grade. (Please don’t ask why I still have it. No idea.)
2.
Cut the top off. That’s right–take scissors to your dress. An hour before you need to walk out the door.
3.
Pair it with a ruffled top and the black heels that you’ve had since, oh, you know…college. Top it off with the blazer that you bought for a job interview to blog about Goodwill shopping, thrifty living, etc. (Oooooops. I bought it for about 75% off, though. Is that enough to redeem myself?)
4.
Rock your outfit, feeling like a million bucks, but loving that it was FREE.
Enjoying the Good Life,
Kendra
