January 04, 2012

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.

I included a lot of (almost all) antiques, this time. Just because it’s a new year, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t treasure old things. I have a great appreciation for antiques–they hold so much history, detail, and beauty. I wanted to point out a few things that I especially love in this set: the frame, the stamps, the chandelier. The frame is so detailed! I have a little painting from Italy that would look beautiful in this. My grandfather started a stamp collection for me when I was young and I now have a ton of stamps. These are probably not collectibles, but they would look amazing laid out and framed as art. And, of course, the chandelier. I would take some paint to it (or not) and slap it in my hallway. So pretty. Such a statement piece.

I hope your first week of January is going well. Happy Wednesday!

Enjoying the Good Life,

  1. Oh wow… that trunk…
I am really wishing I lived in Grand Rapids right now! :o)

  2. Love the stamps! I could do a lot of fun projects with those.

  3. That frame is stunning!

  4. I’m loving the map and the stamps.

Thanks for all the comments, ladies! I can’t decide which item is my very favorite, but the chandelier and the frame are pretty high on the list!!
