A few months ago, I shared this project with another blog and I decided that it’s high time I share it with my own readers. I love this project and I’m pretty sure you’re going to love it just as much. So, let’s talk about re-purposing Goodwill art!
I popped in Goodwill and saw this art painted on a piece of wood, I knew it was the perfect candidate for a little face lift.
It’s not that I have anything against rejoicing–it just wasn’t my style.
I started by spray painting the mid section with a pale jade.
Once it dried, I placed a sticker of a bird in the center…
…and spray painted it metallic silver.
I let it dry overnight, and then I carefully peeled back the sticker. Surprise! I’m so happy with the way it turned out!
Quick, easy, and this project cost less than $3.00!
Enjoying the Good Life,
Kendra
