When we launched the Goodwill Spring Declutter Challenge, our goal was to inspire our friends to take control of a space in their homes that needed a little help in order to best serve its purpose.
It’s easy to wind up with way more “stuff” than you have a proper place for. It’s even easier to get overwhelmed and discouraged by clutter and to ignore it as best you can.
Taking action and tackling a big organizational project is a lot harder -but what a difference it can make in your home, life and state of mind!
We’re pleased to announce the first, second, and third place winners of the 2016 Goodwill Spring Declutter Challenge!
First Place: urvintagegirl’s Fabulous Closet-to-Office Space Makeover
Storage is swell, but when you need a work space, it’s time to get creative. And that’s just what urvintagegirl did!
So what does she win?
A $100 Gift Card to The Container Store, a $50 Goodwill Gift Card, and a copy of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing.
Second Place: Paula’s Perfect Dining Room
Paula took on a whopping THREE rooms, all of which ended up looking amazing. But her dining room transformation was the crowd favorite!
We hope she enjoys her prize which consists of a $50 Gift Card to The Container Store, a $35 Goodwill Gift Card, and a copy of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing.
Third Place: John’s Polo Purge
Personal styles change. When you realize a trend you once loved is no longer your thing, sometimes it’s best to clear up that space for clothing you’ll actually wear. We’re sending him a $35 Goodwill Gift Card, plus a copy of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing.
Thanks so much to everyone who participated, commented, shared, liked and voted in the first ever #GWSpringDeclutter Challenge!
