This shirt had such a fun collar, but it was way too high maintenance. Between the sheer fabric, the elastic waist and the low neckline, it was just an all-around bad idea. But, still, the collar. So I did what any good crafter would do and grabbed my scissors.
I cut out the collar and attached a chunky cord ribbon to each side. I’ve had the cord sitting in my wrapping paper bucket since I used it to wrap Christmas gifts a few years ago. It has such good texture that I think it’s my favorite element of the necklace.
