We have friends who are getting ready to move and I wanted to do something special for them as a going away gift. Their little girl was born here, so I thought it would be sweet to do a little piece of state art for her nursery.
I chose a pink that I thought would match her room and gold glitter because…hello, it’s gold and glitter. Frames are one of those things that seem to be a Goodwill staple. Try to think outside of the box–you can always paint a frame that isn’t your type.
I printed the shape of South Carolina and cut it out. Then, I used that as a template to trace onto the glitter card stock. I cut out the second shape and used double-sided tape to attach it to the pink paper. Super easy and I love the way it turned out.
I think that a personal gift always feels a little more special, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. I definitely can see myself doing this again for more friends!
As always, if you like it, pin it!
Enjoying the Good Life,
Kendra
