The days when I head to Goodwill to browse are when I get some of my best scores. As I was checking out the dishware, I saw a set of six white ceramic bowls.
At first, I picked up two, not sure knowing what I would use them for but I liked the simplicity of them. You know how I have given the advice “If you see something you like, pick it up and walk around with it before you make your final decision?” I need to start taking my own advice. I quickly turned back around and picked up the remaining bowls. As I was checking them out, the employee had commented how these were great bowls and asked how I planned to use them. My response, “I don’t know but I’ll find something”
Holding Fresh Fruit.
My boys are always going into the fridge grabbing strawberries or grapes. Placing freshly washed and cut fruit into the bowls make it easier for tiny hands to grab.
This was my initial plan for the bowls. You can leave the plant in its plastic pot and place it in as-is or carefully drill a hole for drainage before adding dirt. If you don’t want to drill a hole, you can layer the bottom of the bowl with rocks then add the soil and plant.
I have bracelets I wear every day so instead of just throwing them on the dresser at night as I crash into bed, I place them into a bowl. Helps keep things neat and my dresser less cluttered.
