Valentine’s Treat in a Jar

Tomorrow night, I’m hosting Galentine’s Day at my house. Not familiar with Galentine’s? It’s when you get together with your best gals, wear pink, eat chocolate, and celebrate friendship. I’m so excited and I have some over-the-top decor plans (that’s what Valentine’s is about, right?), as well as a craft. And, no worries, I plan on sharing a re-cap with you!

I was thinking about these small glass jars that I got and decided that, filled with candy, they would make great favors! Who wouldn’t love a jar of m&ms? We’re on week 2 of our jar salads (and we still love them!), but I’d love a good jar of m&ms. No shame.

I picked up this cute wrapping paper for $1 and, since it has red and pink, it’s perfect. I simply traced a circle and cut it out.

Then, I placed it under the ring to add a little pop to my favor.

This is the perfect size jar to tuck away in your desk drawer at work or to keep as your emergency stash of chocolate. : )

Happy Galentine’s!

Enjoying the Good Life,

  1. I used to have a ziploc bag of chocolate chips in my desk drawer, but this is way cuter and something I would actually let sit out on my desk! Can’t wait to see the recap of your Galentine’s party!

      You should try it!

  2. LOVING this. Also, it reminds me of Kevin from The Office and his jar of m&m’s:
” I keep them here at my desk so that everybody doesn’t take them.”

      Yes! Love that.

  3. I had a coupon for $1 off any large bag of M&Ms, and I couldn’t let that pass me by, so I now have a candy jar on my desk. Happy Monday to me!
