Unlikely Bookends

I was in Goodwill, recently, and I saw these wood blocks that were priced 4 for less than $2. At first, I wasn’t sure what they were until someone pointed out that they were the supports for wall mounted bookshelves. Regardless, I definitely knew what I wanted to do with them.

You know the game–a little prime, a little paint. Except, this time, I used a gray spray primer–two in one! Shazaam!

I would ask if you’ve guessed what I’m using them for, but the title gave it away. Bookends. And, rather useful ones, at that. They are the perfect shape and very sturdy.

I still have a second set and I’m thinking that they would look cool modge-podged with magazine cut-outs. What do you think?

Enjoying the Good Life,

Kendra
