Shelf Makeover

I bought this little shelf on wheels for about $2 at Goodwill. $2 people! I’m not really sure what purpose it served, originally. Have any ideas? I thought a good coat of spray paint and some shelf liner would make a world of difference–and it did!

IMG_4919I used a light blue spray paint (paint + primer in one is where it’s at!) and I love the way it has a retro look, paired with the orange herringbone liner.

IMG_4984Super fun, right?

CollageThis is definitely one of my favorite makeovers that I’ve done in a while. Keep your eyes open at Goodwill, you never know what you might be able to do with a $2 shelf. : )

Enjoying the Good Life,

  1. This may be my favorite, ever!

  2. Very cute!
Looks like it used to be in a kitchen, maybe?
Where are you planning to use it? (If you’re keeping it.)

  3. Very cute! It’s a tv table, probably from the 60’s or early 70’s. (Televisions had just gone from huge cabinet models to “portable,” thus the wheels.)

  4. This.is.so.cute! You made it perfect. It could be a “drink cart” if you are into that.
