Repurposing Round-Up: Upcycled Planters

If upcycling and repurposing ideas don’t come naturally to you, don’t fret – because I have a super simple secret to share. One of the easiest ways to make your DIY project is by finding something at Goodwill that you can upcycle into a planter! I’m telling you- from mugs, to baskets, to toys, to shoes, to furniture- there are thousands of potential planters waiting for you at the thrift store. And to get your creative juices flowing, I’ve gathered a few of my favorite ideas:

1. Lampshade Hanging Herb Baskets

2. Toy Truck

3. Magazine Rack

4. China & Ceramics

5. Colander / Strainer

6. Wastebasket

7. Cowboy Boots

8. Wooden Bowl

9. Broken Chair

10. Condiment Caddy

*****
See, what did I tell you? Just about every department in Goodwill has a planter just waiting to happen. And if your thumb isn’t exactly green, artificial plants will work just fine- even more possibilities to consider!

Craft on!
