Pinterest Challenge!

It’s that time, again!

Image via Young House Love

Young House Love is hosting another Pinterest Challenge (along with a few other fantastic bloggers) and I am so excited to share my project!

I needed a new painting for my living room and when I saw this DIY Ombre Painting by Danielle Oakey Interiors, I was hooked. Like, must. make. now. kind of hooked.

(I pinned this here.)

I bought a 24″x42″ canvas from Michaels (Hello, 50% off coupon!) and raided my paint stash (I only bought a few to supplement).

Mine isn’t really “ombre”. Just the colors of the sea with a little gold.

I started in the middle with a strip of gold and worked outward, changing up colors as I went.

Are you ready? Get set? Go…

I love it. Super love it. Favorite painting, yet. It’s just happy, isn’t it?

Head over to Young House Love and link up or enjoy all the Pinterest Challenge delight!

Enjoying the Good Life,

Kendra

I love it! It’s happy, but restful and not overwhelming. And I love that you used the colors of the sea!
