No-Sew T-Shirt Tote

It’s t-shirt Friday! Today, I have a “no-sew” tote that you’re going to love. Seriously, it’s a 10 minute craft. Crazy, right?

So grab your Goodwill tee…

Cut the sleeves off and cut out the collar a few inches deeper than the seem. These are going to be your handles.

From the sleeves, cut a 1/2 inch strip and clip one of the ends to create a straight line. Stretch it out a bit so the sides curl.

In the center of the bottom hem, cut a small slit. It’s hard to see in this picture, but it just needs to be big enough to feed your string through.

With a safety pin at the end of your t-shirt strip, feed it through the bottom hem. Center the strings and double tie a tight knot. This is going to be the bottom of your bag, so you want it to be secure.

That’s it! Why have we not made this, yet? Perfect to throw in your car for a trip to the grocery store/book store/quick errands.

Same tee, different lighting. I’m so glad I grabbed a tee with a pocket. It’s nice to have an extra little place for change or to throw your keys.

Like what you see? Pin it!

Enjoying the Good Life,
