Handmade Holiday: Glittered Mason Jars

The mason jar. Used for canning– and sweet tea drinking if you’re from the south. But now, it seems like a home decor staple. Who would have guessed? Start thanking all the people who are still donating their leftover canning jars to Goodwill.

This project is so basic, it hardly needs explaining. I painted the jars with Mod Podge, used a little painter’s tape if needed, and covered them in glitter.

And, that’s it. This is a 15 minute project for sure. But, it makes such a dramatic difference! You could use your jars to decorate or to gift to a friend (And, who wouldn’t love one of these?)…

The best part? You can totally reuse these for New Year’s Eve (and every day of the new year….)!

Enjoying the Good Life,

Kendra

I didn’t, but I imagine that a spray sealant would work fine. Mine don’t shed very bad, if that helps!
