Etched Mason Jars (a Simple DIY for Christmas!)

Christmas is around the corner and I know a lot of you have gift giving on your mind. One year, my sister and I decided to only exchange handmade gifts and it was so fun! Just knowing that someone put extra thought into your gift means a lot.

I learned how to etch glass and it’s so simple that I wanted to share it with you! I see glassware at Goodwill pretty often and this is a great way to give a personalized gift.

A few tips:

-When you put the etching cream on, make sure you have a nice, even coat.

-Apply a little thick.

-Make it unique! I used a general design for the sake of the video, but I think a name or initials would be great!

Enjoying the Good Life,

Kendra

  1. I love this idea! Thanks! Did you put holes in the lids? If so, how? And what did you use to color them?

I actually just bought lids with straws that fit mason jars. You could probably find them at your local craft or retail store!

  2. Perfect! These look great!
