Then again, shouldn’t every month be the month of love? I guess it’s just the only month we can get away with combining pink/purple/red and slapping hearts all over everything.
As much as I love Valentine’s day, I don’t think you need to go out and spend a million bucks to express your love. A simple project carries just as much meaning. (Fill this mug with chocolate=even better.)
1. Go down to Goodwill and buy yourself a mug.
2. Draw a picture/word/quote with Sharpie markers.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes (Just like chicken.).
4. Enjoy or gift to someone you love. : )
I like how personal this gift is. It would be great to include an inside joke, lyrics from “your song”, etc.
If you do this, I’d love to see! Wouldn’t it be fun to do a roundup of Goodwill mugs? Email me your pics!
Enjoying the Good Life,
Kendra
Word of advice–hand wash only! The dishwasher doesn’t seem to be too friendly with the marker.

How sweet! I’ve been on the look out for something different to do for my husband for Father’s Day (I know I’m a little early on that one) and I think this might just be it. He loves his coffee, and I could let the kids have fun decorating a mug for him!
