DIY Painted Sneakers

Do you ever browse the shoes at Goodwill? I don’t often post about shoes, but ever since I saw the painted sneakers at A Beautiful Mess I was like, “Ok, yes…this needs to happen.”

I started by taping off a few sections with washi tape. You could use whatever, but I like the width and the fact that it’s fun to look at.

Then, I used a paint pen and just started drawing. After each row, I would rearrange the tape to create more rows.

I like how these are black and white, but think of how creative you could get with these. I’d love to get a whole colorful pack of paint pens and draw a bird and some clouds. Is that weird? Let’s call it “cool”.
