DIY Flower Hair Clips

This past weekend, I had the honor of standing up with my dear friend as she married the love of her life. The bridesmaid’s dresses were simple and classic and the bride said we could put flowers in our hair. So, check. No twisting my arm there. I browsed on Etsy and have you seen the price of hair flowers? No, thanks. I can make that.

I started with a stem of fake flowers. (I shared my round-up of fake flowers from Goodwill not too long ago.)

I also bought a pack of hair clips from a craft store. They were already wrapped with ribbon, which helps class it up if any of the clip shows through.

I pulled the flowers and leaves off of the stems.

Then, I arranged and hot glued them to the clips. They turned out beautiful and I loved having something special for my hair!

  1. Gorgeous! And way cheaper than Etsy. I checked, too, and they were running at about $15 a pop!
