Design on a Dime

While I don’t think our identity should ever be wrapped up in what we buy/wear/etc., I will admit that, sometimes, it feels good to have nice things. The problem is, it’s not always in our budget to afford the things we love. Solution? Goodwill (of course!). And, is a great way to find something specific because you can actually search for it.

It occurred to me that I don’t usually look for designer items, so I went on a little “name brand” search and–wow–I was surprised at how much I found!

7 For All Mankind

Citizens of Humanity

Louis Vuitton (Even at a Goodwill price, it’s still expensive! But, cute!)

Dooney & Bourke

Jessica Simpson

Bad news? This really makes me want to shop (Not necessarily bad news!). Good news? Goodwill is a great place to spend your money! Your purchase is helping others. Win, win (win!).

Enjoying the Good Life,

P.S. I am loving your responses to my survey! If you haven’t taken it yet, please take a quick sec to fill it out here!

  1. Oh man am I in a shopping mood…
And I must say, my weakness is jeans.

  2. Great post, I used to shop on that website but I had forgotten about it….browsing now:)

  3. Love this idea! Go to the fancy store, try on clothes to find your size, then go home and shop goodwill online. Genius. Think I’m going to go browse for leather jackets. I’m slightly obsessed with the ones that Emma wears on the show “Once Upon A Time.” Just slightly.

Good idea! I think I’m going to shop for some fancy schmancy jeans. I’ve never watched that show…is it your fav?

  4. Nah, I wouldn’t say it’s my fave. It’s just fun to see your childhood stories with a new twist, and way too easy to watch whole seasons of shows on Netflix!

Tell me about it. I’ve seen episodes of Parks and Rec multiple times…
