Book page projects are still going strong and I’ve done a few, myself–a wreath, glued to a canvas, and I’ve seen where people print images onto book pages and frame it as art. I started thinking, “what about bunting?”…you know I love bunting. Bring it on…
Grab a book (A lovely book, at that. No worries, I have two. This is my crafting book.) and a craft knife. Cut out as many pages as you need.
In Word, Open Office, etc., create your first letter. I used Courier New and my font size was 350. Don’t forget to change your document size to match the measurements of your book page. Now, print it out and continue the same process for the remainder of your letters.
If you don’t have access to a printer/don’t want to use all your ink (or, you realize that you are out of ink), hold your book page up to the brightened screen and trace the letter with a pencil. Then, go over it with a Sharpie. Same effect, stronger smell. Woof.
When you are finished, you will have a bunch of lovely letters, like so…
Cut a piece of string or baker’s twine to your desired length and glue the pages in place.
Seriously…I love the look of this. Isn’t it just happy?
I hope you have a happy day!
Enjoying the Good Life,
Kendra
